IDEC
We are excited and honored to host IDEC in Israel and hope that we will share a remarkable experience together
To pique your curiosity, here are 3 questions we would like to discuss during the conference
What are the opportunities in the interface between democratic and public education?
Public education policy makers from around the world will be invited to meet the democratic education people and community in IDEC, in order to learn together and find ways to make it work.
A fascinating fusion between innovation and educational systems is evolving today.
- We will become familiar with case-studies from Israel (AKA – Start-Up nation) and from around the world.
- Where and how can the democratic education take place in this bond?
Democratic Education as leverage for a democratic society
How can we create a multicultural, inclusive community that will actively inspire and promote human rights?

Hadera conference for innovative education
30/3/2017
This “conference within conference” is a window for innovative, groundbreaking educators that do an amazing job but are not necessarily connected to democratic education. This is an opportunity for them to share their doing, to be exposed to global processes, and to be inspired by the outstanding spirit of the IDEC community.
You are all welcomed to present your schools and projects in Hadera conference in addition to what you plan to do during IDEC.
